Definitely one of the craziest (and rarest) pieces of WW2 USAAF survival equipment, a 1945 dated Tropical hat. Similar to it's far better known cousin, the C1 cap, this is also reversible from green to an orange canvas, but comes with a mosquito net facial cover and sunshade for the neck, both of which can be tied up and stowed away. A very rare and quirky hat!
