The N-3 series parka was first developed alongside the L-2 and B-15 in the immediate postwar years. Initially delivered in olive green then air force blue, the N-3B iteration in the classic sage green was introduced in the mid 1950s. This is a very rare early example of the blue N-3A, from one of the first contracts dated around 1951 and made by Aviator Clothing Inc. Not only does this retain the wolverine fur ruff, it also has a beautiful brown fur lining to the hood, which one assumes is a carry-over from the making of the early N-3 parka. These jackets are rare, and finding one in condition as good as this is a great treat!
Condition
Beautiful mint condition. Some slight marks on the waist and back, but otherwise perfect!
