An iconic piece of cold weather military clothing. Initially introduced in the early postwar period as the olive green N-2, the design would truly come into it's own when it changed to sage green in 1957. This example is from the rare first contract, issued to Rolen Sportswear in 1957. It's easily distinguishable from later versions with an oxygen tab on the front, and loops/buttons on either side of the chest. It also features a coyote fur ruff removed on later examples, and an all important Air Force logo on the shoulder.

Condition

Excellent used condition. A few marks here and there, particularly a pen mark on the shoulder near the logo. One of two small moth nips/runs in the knits but nothing major. Fur is in nice shape, zippers work beautifully, logo still very clear. A little redding to the nylon, particularly near the zipper and chest buttons
