Initially delivered in olive green and then air force blue, finally the iconic N-3B iteration in the classic sage green was introduced in the mid 1950s. This is a mint example of the second sage green pattern. It's lost the oxygen tab of the first pattern, but retains real wolverine fur for the ruff, and meatball on the left shoulder. Dated 1963 and manufactured by Southern Athletic.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThese were really built for extremes, many of the early Operation Deep Freeze and USARP photos show guys wearing N-3B parkas, and I've owned them with Antarctic patches.
