A really wonderful example of a late Vietnam USAF Party Jacket. This was custom made for a member of the 1st Special Operations Squadron who flew A1 Skyraiders on counter-insurgency and rescue operations from their base at Nakhon Phanom in Thailand. Based on my research I believe this dates to 1971-72. It's a beautiful piece with all of the 'patches' directly embroidered to the shirt. Pieces like this don't come along often.
Condition
Essentially perfect and seemingly unwashed. There are some light sweatmarks to the collar and it could benefit from a dryclean, but otherwise it's absolutely perfect.
