The humble C1 survival vest sunhat would go on to be one of the most enduring designs of WW2. It would slightly evolve from its initial yellow colour, through the orange and green of the 60s & 70s, and its final (and rarest) iteration would be the woodland camo version in the early 90s. It's said that Scott O'Grady wore one of these when his F-16 was shot down behind enemy lines in 1995.
Condition
Good condition, makers mark still very strong, though some marks to the orange side that will come out with wash. Someone has written what looks like a stores number in pen beneath the makers mark.
