Founded by US Navy Seabees in 1956, the Amundsen-Scott base in the US's mostly southerly scientific research station, and is located directly at the South Pole. Initially created as part of Operation Deep Freeze, it would be handed over to USARP upon it's founding in 1959. This t-shirt would have been given to USARP members, and dates approx 1981-83.
Condition
This is deadstock and completely unworn. There appears to be a mark on the reverse of the right sleeve, but this will come out when cleaned.
