Founded by US Navy Seabees in 1956, the Amundsen-Scott base in the US's mostly southerly scientific research station, and is located directly at the South Pole. Initially created as part of Operation Deep Freeze, it would be handed over to USARP upon it's founding in 1959. This t-shirt would have been given to USARP members, and dates to the early 80s.
Condition
Used but excellent shape. A beautiful sun-fade to the print and one tiny hole just to the left of the A on Amunden.
