The end of the war in Southeast Asia may have sent most American's home, but it didn't end their presence in Japan, and it certainly didn't end the desire for servicemen to have garments made to take home. This example is a later one, dated to 1979/80 but comes with a wild embroidered patch on the back and amazing embroidered lettering to back and chest. These pieces are becoming harder to find and collectible in their own right.
