The classic piece of WW2 frogskin, the P44 pants. Designed as a reversible garment allowing the marine to change from the beach pattern to the jungle pattern as the environment required. Used extensively by the Marine Corps in the pacific, throughout the Korean War, and by the French in Indochina. The key design feature here is the large pocket across the buttocks designed to hold a poncho to keep one's bum dry when sitting on wet ground.
Condition.
Excellent condition. Show light signs of wear only. There was a little storage corrosion to the press studs, but I've cleaned a lot of that to make opening and closing easy.
