A classic icon of the Vietnam war, the boonie hat. Worn by US troops as much for show as for camouflage! This particular example was made in Thailand, likely when the 11th Air Refuelling Squadron deployed to Thakli RTAFB in in 1972/73. This features many of the classic patches associated with boonies of the era, including the large Southeast Asai War Games patch to the top, and Snoopy to the front.
Condition
Excellent mint condition, and seemingly unused. You can still see the tailors marks on the lettering around the top!
