It's about that time of year when every Englishman naturally reaches for his wax. My International is something I wear from the moment the weather starts to get cold until it's so hot the wax starts to melt! Originating from the WW2 Royal Navy Ursula jacket, the International along with the Trialmaster became the staple motorcycle jackets of the 1950s-70s. Worn by everyone from the bikers of the 59 Club to style legend Steve McQueen, it's one of the most iconic pieces of menswear ever made.
This particular example comes straight from one careful owner in the UK. It's in absolutely stunning shape, literally perfect. Not only is she very clean, she's got one of the rare lining patterns, a beautiful navy blue background with tan, pink, yellow and pale blue checks. She's supplied along with the original trousers, which also look to have only been worn lightly.
Condition
Excellent condition, no visible damage at all. The lining is very clean, and the shell looks to have been well cared for a waxed. Remarkably for a barbour of this age, it even smells fresh! The Aero zipper and Newey studs all present, correct and working well.
