A beautiful and really rather rare military clock! These were made for the British army in 1943 and are known as a Type ii or austerity pattern. Earlier pre-war patterns had wooden bezels, but war manufacturing requirements demanded a more economical material be used and a bakelite and brass solution was found. These are a good deal harder to find than earlier versions. This comes with a key and is keeping great time - I've had it running for 4 days now and it's within a minute.

Condition

Good working condition. Some wear to the dial but nothing substantial.
