British Army 63 Pattern Green Ventile Smock Windproof

The rarest of the series of British Windproof smocks, and a piece thats been in my personal stash for a few years. These were made in the mid-1960s to replace the then outdated  WW2 windproof camo smocks. Made from costly ventile, these would only be issued to elite units, the SAS and Royal Marines. A piece missing from even the best British collections.

Condition

Well used with some areas of wear and repair, notably by the hem. When this arrived with me the zipper had been destroyed and it's been perfectly replaced with a matching NZ zipper salvaged from a contemporary 68 pattern smock.
