I've always been a huge fan of the jewellery produced by the cottage industry that sprang up to provide servicemen with mementos, and this is a great example. Some of the most collectible jewellery from the war was made in India, brightly enamelled bracelets & rings that bear the CBI insignia. These were purchase by soldiers and airman, serving in the CBI theatra, often by pilots flying the hump.
