Longines 1943 "Sei Tacche" Watch

A beautiful timepiece! This is a 1943 dates Longines "Sei Tacche". This example wasn't issued, but many of these would be purchased privately by soldiers, and a number were also issued to the Navy (see my other listed Longines). This example is fully original, the 10L movement, serial number 6609107 dates it to 1943. It's got the wonderful blue hands associated with Longines in the 1940s, and a great patina to the dial.

Condition

Used but great. Its had a light service and cleaning. It's keeping great time - +/-30 on a timegrapher. Some wear and patina to the case and dial. Comes with a deadstock 1945 US military strap.

Please be mindful, this is a 80 year old watch and should be treated accordingly! It's not going to be waterproof, and I wouldn't wear it to do any strenuous activity or sports etc!
