A stunning example of British utilitarian design. These jackets were made for use by the Royal Navy during WW2. Made from the same thick melton wool as their far more common tan brothers, these shorter pieces are a dramatically different fit and are considerably harder to find! This example features a strong label showing a 1944 manufacturing date, an acceptance stamp and a name.
Condition
Structurally the jacket is in amazing shape, however, the outer most layer of wool has moth bites, pretty consistently around the whole jacket. It's only noticeable closeup and I've provided some close up imagery for reference
