US Army 1918 Engineer Corps Verners Marching Compass

A beautiful example of a Mk VIII Verner's marching compass made by Cruchon & Emons London for the US Army Engineer Corps. These compasses were the standard issue compass for the British Army throughout WW1, but the US Army versions are much rarer due to the later entry into the conflict.
