US Army 1940s Airborne Occupation Jump Jacket

It's always such a pleasure to find a cool one of these. Custom made in Japan for members of the US Airborne when they were stationed there in the very early postwar years. This example is made from a heavy wool gabardine. It's gone a chunky Talon zipper of the style found on the M-48 parka, and United Carr snaps throughout. The manufacturing quality on this is seriously amazing, its a great piece!

• No tag, but the equivalent of a 40 Jump jacket
• Fits like a medium but it skinny on my belly as per the original jump jacket style

• Shoulder to shoulder 18"
• Shoulder to cuff 25"
• Waist 18" (measured across the belt)
• Collar to hem 29"
