US Army 1944/45 Willsonite Bakelite Sunglasses

A super cool pair of late-war military sunglasses made by Willsonite. These are actually a rather hard piece to research though it seems these were contracted to multiple manufacturers and were issued late was to US Army infantry. An early example of making sunnies out of shatterproof plastic over glass and metal. 

Condition

Excellent used condition. Some mild warping to the frames but largely perfect. The button on the case is worn and should be used with care.

• Approx 5.5" across the frames
• Approx 5" arms
• These are quite small lenses, but they my large head comfortably.
