US Army 1950s - Vietnam Waltham Wrist Compass
This very simple accessory has really exploded in popularity recently, it actually took me a while to find a nice one! First introduced in service in the late part of WW2 is was designed for US Navy aviators as a backup compass incase their cockpit compass failed, but it also proved somewhat useful in survival situations. It seems like these were just as popular 60 years ago, and found a second life in the jungles of Vietnam where they would be worn by everyone from grunts to Navy Seals. A super cool piece of kit that comes with an original 15mm nylon watch strap.
Condition
Used but excellent, a few light cracks to the plastic, but otherwise mint. Comes with a pack of survival cards.
