US Army Pre-WW1 1911 Sweater

As a good friend said to me recently, a piece that is 'unobtainium', a very very rare pre-WW1 1911 Service Sweater. These were introduced, as the name would suggest, before WW1 but are commonly seen on doughboys, particularly officers, throughout the US involvement in WW1. These are an extreme rarity, and the pride of place of any WW1 collection. 

Condition

Worn condition with repairs, through seemingly period done and pretty cleanly.
