A great example of the issued lighter used famously by paratroopers, but seemingly issued pretty widely. These were made by a number of manufacturers including Zippo, but this example is a Zephry by Galter MFG. These were were coated in a textured enamel to make them less reflective and visiable, and to prevent corrosion to the metal used, which was more porous the stanard brass due to war manufacturing requirements. These are hard to find in good working condition and retaining the crackle coating.
Condition
Excellent used condition. Working nicely and I've replaced the flint. Some very light chipping to the crackle but largely excellent.
