US Navy 1900s/1920s Carving Set

A super beautiful early 20th century carving set made for the US Navy and used by very senior officers. These bear the USN stamp on one side of the handle, and an Eagle clutching arrows on the other, a symbol only used in the pre-WW1 period. Stamped to Meriden Britannia Company, a well know silverware manufacturer from 1852, through 1930s. 

Condition

Good used condition, some light patina. I've given the blade/fork a good polish and it would benefit from sharpening should you wish to use these.
