Whilst its hard to date exactly, I believe this beauty of a cap would have been made in Japan in the late 1950s for an officer sailining on the USS Acme. This is a great example of a 50s Japanese made cap, with a wool outer, cotton lining, and coloured seam tape.

In beautiful condition. There is a little light fading to the wool, but largely very nice
