US Navy Early War Corpsman Bag

Sometimes the best pieces are the most simple, and this is super cool example of a very simple piece. These bags were used by some of the most unsung heroes of the war, US Navy corpsman who would act as medics for the Marines. This particular bag was a pre-war pattern, known officially as Hospital Corps Pouch, Small, and they would be superseded in service by others before the end of the war. These bag are surprisingly rare, and very hard to find.

Condition

Used but very nice. Light marking and fading but largely perfect.
