Everyone who visits this site knows how much I love flight jackets, and you really can't get a more definitive pattern than the L-2B. Much lighter and (in my humble opinion) more wearable that it's MA-1 elder brother, the L-2B really is the archetypal jacket if you're into flight wear. 

This particular example, dated 1973, was worn by a USAF Colonel, likely the squadron commander of the 145th Air Refuelling Squadron. Based on the time frame, and that the squadron was handed to SAC in 1974, I think it's almost certain this belonged to Colonel Victor M. Davis, who commanded the 145th from June 1971 to March 1975. There is some info on him here.

Condition

This is in used, but good shape. Some light mothing and wear to cuffs and collar.
