A suuuuuper cool WW1 musette bag. Very rarely this one is name to George E Meister, who served in WW1 with 18th (E) Company, 5th Marines - the famous Devil Dogs. It seems from muster rolls that Meister arrived in France around August 1918, too late to have been at Belleau Wood but almost certainly saw action at Saint-Mihiel, Blanc Mont Ridge, and Meuse-Argonne. He would stay with the 5th as part of the occupation force in Europe until 1919.
